Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara Review

It's one of the best selling beauty brands - if not the top performer for John Lewis judging by the size of the new counter in the Oxford Street flagship store - and Bobbi Brown has countless award-winning products including the beauty editors favourite, the long wear gel liner and gorgeous the shimmer bricks. Surprisingly though none of Bobbi Brown's mascaras have taken home any prizes.

The Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara launched last year and does exactly what it promises: longer, glamorous lashes in seconds. With widely spaced bristles, the wand combs through lashes, separating and coating each lash without even a hint of clumping. The deep black colour rules out the need for a second coat and the formula stays put all day, so much so you will need a good eye make-up remover to take it off.

Creating a mascara that creates impressively long lashes with no clumps for less than £20 is no mean feat - Bobbi Brown we salute you.

Rating: 8/10 - Great mascara for adding definition and length, but those who prefer volume might not be 100% content.

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Review

With a concealer and highlighter in one, it is not surprising that Bobbi Brown’s Creamy Concealer is an award-winning product. While the concealer covers up dark circles, the highlighter enhances your complexion and makes your eyes look wider and brighter.

Both products work in harmony together with the concealer having a creamy texture, which is easily to blend in with your skin and the highlighter taking on a slightly more powdery consistency to increase the longevity.

For the best results use a moisturising eye cream beforehand as this creates a good base and makes it easier to blend the concealer. Although it’s not essential, I would invest in Bobbi Brown’s Corrector too, as this helps reduce the darker area of the inner corner of your under eye.

Once you’ve applied your concealer, add a touch of highlighter to the outer corner of your under eye along the very top of your cheekbones to give your face definition and brighten your eyes.

Rating: 8/10 - It's not the quickest product to use as blending the shades does take time, but Bobbi's concealer gives great coverage. 

Bobbi Brown's Buffing Grains Review

Bobbi Brown's Buffing Grains is the perfect pampering product for the weekend. The loose grains allow you to make your own exfoliator by mixing them with your cleanser.

Whether you're after a deep abrasive scrub or a light buffing, this product will wash away dead skin and leave your skin feeling smoother, softer and cleaner.

Formulated with replenishing Japanese Adzuki Bean Powder, these grains won't sweep away any of your skin's natural moisture. This really is a genius beauty buy and a summer must-have.
